SALEM MEDICAL is seeking an EXPERIENCED RN PRACTICE NURSE Manager for a Practice located in WINSTON SALEM, NC. This is an open position with a well-respected Specialty Medical Practice!
Tasks and Job Responsibilities will include:
Staff Supervision:
• Maintain clinical staff scheduling (i.e., oversee vacation request, sick days, handling floating schedules, etc.)
• Handle clinical staff personnel issues
• Maintain time sheets for payroll department
• Maintain current licenses and credentials of Clinical Medical Staff, arranging all in-service training, etc.
Compliance Supervision:
• Oversee OSHA/HIPPA Compliance training, issues and review
• Assure compliance with infection control guidelines and maintain contracts for medical supplies and medications
• Develop, maintain, review and update clinical policies and procedures in conjunction with the Directors, Administrator and Providers
Nursing Responsibilities:
• Will be required to work as-needed to cover or float as a Nurse to coverage for outages
• Will work as needed with Patients in rooming, exams, assisting with procedures and overall Patient care
• Will work as needed with Providers with exams and extended procedures
Requirements Include:
• Must hold current NC RN license and be in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing
• Must hold current CPR certification
• Must be a graduate of a US accredited Nursing Program
• Must provide proof of educational background as well as employment and personal references
• Must have 2 years of experience working as an RN in a Practice setting in a supervisory and/or management position
This position is Full-Time and requires coverage Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00/5:30pm each day, with the potential for overtime weekly. Interviews will start immediately with an open start date for the selected candidate.
