Plastic Surgery Group in Atlanta is seeking experienced certified surgical technician and/or RNFA to work in JCAHO accredited surgical center . Purpose/Role is to perform surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a board certified plastic surgeon.
Responsibilities:
Â• Prepares operating room for surgical patient, maintains preference cards to determine individual surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.
Â• Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
Â• Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Requirements: Experience Â• <2 years
Licenses & Certifications: Certified Surgical Technician
