Registered Nurse/ Licensed Vocational Nurse (mendocino county)

Licensed nurse to work in an outpatient community health center. Position is responsible for direct patient care and case management. Nursing functions assure efficient patient flow and are available to assist the providers as needed. The nurse would work under general supervision of PA, FNP and MD professional staff, performs semiprofessional routine nursing duties in the care and treatment of patients. Provides back-up for the Triage Nurse, providing professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to clients who call in or drop in for urgent care services in the Clinic. Determines the urgency of the patients presenting complaints and designates triage category and follow up.
