If you're a Licensed RN with compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly, consider a rewarding career with us. As a Wellness Nurse / SALSA RN , you'll assist our residents with care activities as well as supervising Wellness Department employees in providing day-to-day care. At Emeritus, you'll help to maintain the excellent service standards that have made us a leader in the senior living industry.Position requirements include:
- Licensed RN in good standing with State Licensing Authority.
- A baccalaureate degree in nursing and a minimum of two (2) years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience in nursing, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency or community health program that included care of the sick at home; or
- A diploma or associate's degree in nursing and at least four (4) years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience in nursing within the past ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of which shall be in a home health care agency.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
