Reports to: Supervisor of Utilization Management
Department: Utilization Management
• Daily on site rounds, reviewing of medical records, concurrent review and discharge planning on inpatients
• Daily inpatient rounds with Hospitalist
• Reviews impatient cases with management on a daily basis
• Collaborates with physicians, patients, and families to formulate a plan of care
• Explores care options to reduce cost, length of stay, curtail re-admission and influence quality outcomes
• Performs On-Call duties after hours and on weekends as scheduled
• All other Case Manager duties
• AA, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent from 4 year college or technical school
• RN with current California license
• 2 to 4 years clinical experience in acute care (i.e., ICU, CCU, ER, med-surg) or related health care experience
• Must have intermediate computer/lap top skills and in Microsoft programs


Location: Redlands/Loma Linda
