Description:
Title: Registered Nurse
Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (32 hours/week)
Location: Seattle
General Duties include:
• Patient initial visit, counseling, IVF procedure teaching and scheduling of treatment.
• Cycling visits including: medication instruction (schedule, dosage and administration), anticipatory guidance, clarification of physician instructions.
• Phone triage: accepts/makes phone calls regarding patient medication, treatment plans, and other general fertility questions.
• Maintains patient waiting lists, maintenance and scheduling cycles.
• Direct & perform nursing care within the surgical suite, pre-, intra- & postoperatively.
• Liaise with Physicians and Anesthesiologist regarding drugs & inventory, changes, new drugs and equipment needs & maintenance.
• Maintains records for area including; Patient Log, Narcotic Log, Drug Outdates, Crash Cart Log.
• Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions.
An ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills. This position requires independent judgment as well as the ability to work closely with a team of nurses and physicians. Teamwork, along with placing our patients first, is of our highest priority!
2-3 years experience Women's Health and/or OBGYN office preferred. Fertility background desired.
