Looking for RN's to teach Nursing Assistants (Las Vegas)

at in Las Vegas

APHTC is currently hiring for Registered Nurses to teach our nursing assistant students. This is a part time position, no benefits.
Must be available to work days, evenings, or weekends teaching theory, laboratory or clinical.
Licenses and other requirements:
1. Valid RN License (must keep current)
2. CNA Instructors certification (must keep current)
3. Background clearance at the direction of APHTC
4. Proof of TB Clearance via Tb test or Chest X-ray (can provide if needed)
5. Drug testing upon direction of APHTC
6. In addition, meet one of the following requirements:
a) 2 years full time experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a long term nursing/acute care facility.
Plus
1 year experience instructing educational programs.
Or
b) 4 years full time experience as a licensed nurse providing direct patient care in a nursing/acute care facility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Â• Classroom environment dealing with different personalities and cultures
Â• Light physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds
Â• Work under pressure of deadlines and time constraints
