United Cerebral Palsy of MetroBoston (UCP) is a progressive, non-profit agency committed to advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities.
UCP is currently looking for a Registered Nurse to work part time, 20 hours a week, within the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Program. The PCA program assists people with disabilities to live independently in the community.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining a Quality Assurance Process and occasionally facilitate in-service meetings to contracted Nurses to promote better service delivery. Work closely with the PCA Program Team to respond to clinical inquiries and any issues presented to the team. Conduct in home evaluations throughout Massachusetts for eligible consumers. Attend MassHealth meetings and respond to clinical inquiries and clinical referrals from the Division of Medical Assistance. Complete clinical adjustment to Prior Authorization as needed, based on a change in consumer's medical condition or living situation that impacts consumer's ability to perform ADLs or IADLs without physical assistance.
This is a part time 20 hour position and the hours are very flexible. Must be an RN with a Massachusetts current license. Must also have a driver's license and be willing to travel throughout the MetroBoston area.
