Under the Direction of the Administrator, the Nurse Manager directs and manages the operations and activities of the Pre-op, Holding, OR and Recovery departments. Responsibilities include the overall management of daily operations, as well as staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities. The Nurse Manager will provide high-quality patient care to and act as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians and employees.
Qualifications include: graduate of an accredited school of nursing, 3+ years nurse manager experience, hands-on surgical experience, current valid Florida RN licensure, previous experience working in an ambulatory surgery center, excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
