Job Description:
Responsible for directing the day-to-day nursing functions in accordance with current federal, state and local standards and guidelines and regulations governing skilled nursing centers. It is the nursing director's responsibility to assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to center residents at all times. Major duties include nursing administrative functions (resident care management, committees, nursing personnel, nursing staff development, safety and sanitation, as well as budget and planning for the Nursing Department).
Job Requirements:
Posses current RN license in the state of Vermont.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care.
Operates independently and leads by example.
