We are currently looking for 2 Full-time Nurse Practitioners to practice independently and in collaboration with the Medical Director to provide primary care to our patients. The Nurse Practitioners will also provide clinical recommendations as well as follow-up care.
Duties of this position include following, in accordance with established policies and nursing standards:
•Provide direct clinical care to patients.
•Participate in developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising the Plan of Care for each patient.
•Consult and refer patients to medical specialists, and other health professionals as needed.
•Ensure proper documentation to meet all reporting requirements.
•Demonstrate strong ethical and safety practices.
•Participate in peer support / evaluation, in services, education programs, and staff meetings, and Quality Improvement activities as needed.
Candidates for the Nurse Practitioner position should meet the following requirements:
•Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master's program. (Previous Family Practice experience preferred but not required)
•Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner preferred.
•Current NP or PA License in TN and an unencumbered DEA.
•Must maintain current CPR certification.
•Self-reliant and self-aware.
•Demonstrate understanding of relevant government regulations.
•Ability to communicate effectively and positively in all interactions.
•Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
•Meeting all local health regulations and pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry as required.
