Psychiatric Nurse (Alcoa)

Provides supportive therapy and participates in treatment programs as supervised by psychiatrist or nurse practitioner. Part of the multidisciplinary team. Provides patient education regarding diagnosis and prescribed medications and their usage; maintains accurate clinical records and documents patient history, reactions, etc. Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse with 2 years of psychiatric nurse experience
