Growing medical practice looking for a full-time RN to join the team. We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, hardworking, and dependable team players that are able to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly. Job Title: RN
Location: Clarksville, TN
Schedule: 4 days per week, 7:30am-5:30pm
Compensation: $18-$20/hour based on experience
Summary:
Assists in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. Reports directly to Nursing Supervisor or Physician
Responsibilities:
• Place patients in an exam room, take a history, prepare them for their visit and present to physician
• Able to complete 90% of patient charting
• Able to set-up for all procedures with proper instruments and forms to be filled out
• Explain procedures and consent patient for procedures
• Assist physician while in exam room with procedures
• Able to assist in excisions and Mohs Micrographic Surgeries
• Administer lidocaine injections and IM injections
• Able to perform wound dressings and give post op instructions to patients
• Record all biopsies, cultures performed, and lab worked requested in correct log books
• Fill out lab forms and requisition forms correctly
• Set patients up for Biologics and Accutane
• Inform patients of biopsy results
• Clean, Package and Sterilize instruments
• Draw up lidocaine syringes
• Able to schedule patients for procedures or various appointments
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous RN experience required, preferably dermatology experience
• Graduate RN program
• Basic computer skills and phone etiquette required
