Come be a part of our Acute Stabilization Unit! We are looking for a qualified RN to provide recovery-focused nursing services and assist clients on our ten-bed unit in North Kingstown, RI. This is an on-call/per-diem position.
• Responsible for planning and implementing monitored medication, developing and leading medication groups and coordinating the client's total health care delivery.
• Maintain ongoing communication with primary caseworker, and psychiatrist, triage acute situations, coordinate with Acute Services and other Center nurses as well as with staff from community health agencies, and provides outreach as needed.
• Medication packing and medication teaching for Center clients as directed.
• Complete all necessary paper work, including transcribing physician orders according to established procedures.
• Perform all ancillary nursing functions as directed.
• Assist and prepare clients for diagnostic and laboratory testing as needed.
• Routine monitoring of vital signs for clients.
• Maintain all records in accordance with State, Federal and Center requirements.
Education Requirements: Associates Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
License/Certification Requirements: Current RI RN License.
