CRC: Allied Health Services (Alder) has a full-time Dispensing Nurse position available in their outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment Program. The hours for this position are early morning hours -- 5:15am to 2:00pm. This is a 32 -- 40 hour per week job and includes Saturday mornings (6:15am -- 12:00pm).
QUALIFICATIONS: The Nurse will be licensed LPN or Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon. There is no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment as a Nurse.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Nurse works under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Clinic Director. Maintains professional standard and follow the treatment policies of the organization and Federal and State Laws and Regulations. The Nurse is required to administer Medication as ordered by the Medical Director, Program Physician, and to maintain accurate accounting of all medication received (from supplier) and dispensed (to the patient). He / She is responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and ADP. The Nurse will dedicate a minimum of 95 percent of regularly scheduled work hours to activities directly related to the administration of Medication. The remaining 10 percent of regularly scheduled work hours will be dedicated to other activities as assigned by the Medical Director or Program Director. The Nurse may be responsible for urine collection and processing, reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians and the completion of all forms involved in these procedures.
