This position is in a Correctional Institution in Toledo,OH.
Qualifications/Education
• Medical Terminology
• Current driver's license
• Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage.
• Must be open to a full background check and drug test
• Clean criminal and background records
• Drug screening completed at our discretion
• Reliable car
• Phone with voicemail
Duties include -- Confidential maintenance and tracking of offender medical/mental health files in the institution inmate health and/or mental health services department; checks offender medical/mental health classification and note pending appointments; receives and timely files all pertinent offender medical documentation in the medical/mental health file; monitors the medical operating system and DOTS mental health screens and mental health treatment planner for offender medical/mental health reports; collects, enters and reports monthly medical/mental health data assigned; fax pertinent offender release information to adult parole authority; performs onsite and offsite offender appointment scheduling duties, notifies staff of necessary patient preparation, and monitors the Medical Operations Scheduling System (MOSS) for scheduled appointments; maintains a file/log of all offender appointments; performs other duties as assigned.
