Full Time LPN/RN Needed for busy OBGYN office (Midtown)

Job Description- LPN/ RN
The LPN/RN will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist medical staff in treating private patients in a very busy Manhattan OBGYN office. Duties will include:
Obtain vital signs on patients (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, height/weight)
Provide phlebotomy services
Label and prepare specimens for processing
Assist physicians in performing routine office procedures
Administer injections/immunizations to patients.
Maintain log of patient immunizations
Provide patient education, facilitate all aspects of care.
Answer or address all medical questions for the facility.
Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order as required
Provide refills on prescriptions based on physicians orders.
Other general clinical duties as requested by the Medical Director.
Requirements:
Completion of a nursing program with appropriate license.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English efficiently.
Ability to deal effectively with public and medical staff.
Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
Some early morning/late evening shifts may be required
This position also requires lab knowledge and experience with EMR, a plus. We pride ourselves on offering the highest standard of medical care. You must be a compassionate, warm "people person" who is very highly motivated and can be flexible with the work schedule.
