Full-Time, Night Shift, Variable Hours
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital (BMSCH) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) is a regional resource for specialized pediatric care comprising 105 inpatient beds and a Pediatric Emergency Department. The Nursing and Patient Services Division of BMSCH provides family-centered care in an environment that promotes healing. The care team consists of a multidisciplinary team that integrates caring and compassion with evidence-based practices that treat the patient and family. The excellence in nursing practice is further evidenced by our designation as a Magnet® Hospital four consecutive times by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
We are seeking a qualified APN to join our team of 6 Pediatric Acute Care APNs and function as a team leader on all pediatric acute and critical care ground transports to our institution, as well as care for patients in our PICU. The APN will join a successful NP model and work in collaboration with 8 Board-certified Pediatric Intensivists in caring for over 1000 PICU admissions and approximately 900 transports per year. Position is full-time nights, variable hours, flexible scheduling, and weekend and holiday coverage.
Requirements:
• MSN in pediatric Advanced Practice Nursing (Acute or Critical Care preferred)
• 3-5 years PICU experience
• APN experience preferred, preferably in Pediatric Acute or Critical Care
• BLS and PALS certification
• National certification as Nurse Practitioner requiredFor more information or to apply, please click here
