VNA-TIP HealthCare is hiring for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (R.N.) to work out of our Alton Hospice branch. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Job Duties:
•Demonstrates the ability to assess the needs of the patient/develop and implement plan of care
•Observes and assesses nursing needs of the patient as frequently as the patient's condition and needs require
•Provides and assists with nursing services, treatments, diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for patient's care and safety
•Demonstrates the ability to effectively monitor pain and symptom control, identify adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, etc.
•Coordinates with the IDG team needs of patient and family
•Supervises home health aide staff
•Demonstrates knowledge and maintains compliance of agency policies and procedures
Requirements:
•Registered Nurse
•Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
•Prior hospice experience preferred
