CLINIC NURSE (LPN / CMA) (Minnetonka / Plymouth area)

Description
Our progressive dermatology office has a full-time opening for an LPN / CMA. As part of our patient care team, responsibilities would include taking vitals; obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select surgical procedures; triaging patient phone calls; performing laser hair removal, photofacials, fractional and excimer laser treatments, photodynamic therapy and chemical peels; coordinating phototherapy (UVA and UVB) treatments. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medications, nursing procedures such as IM injections, suture removal, dressing changes, patch testing, and initiating pathology and lab requisition documents.
Requirements
Ideal candidate should enjoy working in a clinic that specializes in skin care. The candidate should be a self-starter, reliable, detail oriented, possess a strong capability for multi-tasking, and have a friendly, professional demeanor.
