Clincal Manager - RN, Pediatrics (Greater Houston Area)

Opportunity to work for a premier healthcare facility in Houston, Texas. The Pediatric Nurse Manager will exercise primary responsibility for the operational, clinical and educational functions of the work area. This includes planning programs that facilitate the development of staff and will delegate portions of this responsibility to subordinates. While maintaining a team approach to the shared responsibilities, the manage functions independently as needed in all aspects of the work area. Will also supervise support staff and collaborate with other work area staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the work area. Duties include maintaining skills of the staff to initiate and carry out ethical discourse. Manager will lead by example in demonstrating commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.
Required:

Three plus years pediatric experience with minimum one year of management
Texas RN License or eligibility
AHA CPR and PALS (preferred)
