Midwest Healthcare Services, L.L.C. is currently recruiting for a qualified CNA to be available day, evening, or weekends PRN in Overland Park, KS and surrounding areas. Shifts are normally 2-3 hours per client.
We are now taking applications for those who qualify. Background checks will be performed!

COMPANION SERVICES (Level 1) Requirements:
1. Personal Care (bathing/bathroom assistance)
2. Companion Services
3. Meal Preparation
5. Geriatric Assessment/Evaluation
6. Transportation, Non-Medical (shopping, errands, etc.)
PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT (Level 2) Requirements [include all of the above Companion responsibilities in addition to the following]:
1. Preparing a special diet and assisting with feeding
2. Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and hair care
3. Monitoring and reporting skin condition to supervisor and/or family
4. Monitoring food and fluid intake if indicated, keeping log
5. Assistance with ambulation and transfers
6. Dressing reinforcement
7. Vital signs
8. Must be able to lift, transfer and position clients of varying weights with the ability to lift, twist and turn using proper body mechanic techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must meet requirements in accordance with State of Kansas and Federal laws.
2. Must maintain high ethical standards and integrity, as well as be dependable in regards to time management.
3. Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred (Companion).
4. Have a CNA Certificate or Nursing License (Kansas and/or Missouri) in good standing (Personal Care Attendant).
5. Have a current CPR card.
6. Have a negative TB skin test within ten weeks or chest x-ray within six months prior to hire date.
7. Have current auto insurance and a valid driver's license transporting clients.
