Purpose of Job: The Nurse is responsible for administering the program and providing guidance and
treatment to patients. The Nurse is to review patient charts, oral reports and lab reports, identify any
concerns and bring these matters to the attention of the Doctor for resolution. In addition, the Nurse is to
provide excellent customer service when dealing with patients.
Medical Duties
Operate professionally, ethically and with integrity according to the highest medical standards and
practices.
Ensure thorough knowledge of all policies, procedures and clinic services while adhering to all protocols.
Provide comprehensive program information to prospective and present patients and responding to
questions. At times of uncertainty, refer issue to higher authority for guidance.
Conduct consultations for new patients, individually or in groups.
Monitor and discuss ongoing progress with patients, ensuring appropriate completion of all
documentation (Patient and Diet Sheet Assessments, Blood Work results, etc.) in a timely
manner. Refer all medical abnormalities to the attending Physician.
Administer injections, and ensure proper documentation
Perform urine tests and other vitals as required
Communicate any problems/concerns to the Physician.
Customer Service
Greet patients in a welcoming and professional manner.
Administer the program professionally and respectfully, recognizing the patients' medical, physical and
emotional needs.
Respond to inquiries or refer appropriately as required.
Sales Administration
Promote the program to all prospective patients.
Phone past patients to obtain an update on progress and invite them to return as required.
Other Duties
Complete product and medical supplies inventory
Become knowledgeable in and assist the Medical Receptionist with duties as required.
Assist other clinics with daily operation as required.
Maintain clinic cleanliness and neat appearance.
Perform other duties as assigned by Physician and supervisor.
Competencies:
Appropriate nursing certification and preferably with a number of years of applicable working
experience.
Customer Service Oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pleasant and professional manner, in person and over the phone.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment in the delivery of care to patients.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to produce high quality work in accordance clinic standards.
