Dispensing Nurse - Saturday's (Beaverton, OR)

CRC Health Group in Beaverton is looking for a part-time Saturday dispensing nurse. Our upbeat team is looking for a good match to work 6am-10:30am (4.5 hrs) on Saturday. There is potential for covering other shifts when available. We are a medication assisted treatment facility dealing with patients who struggle with opiate abuse. You will work closely with other nurses, the Medical Director and Clinic Director.
Job Description
Qualifications: The Nurse will be license Registered Nurse, Vocational Nurse or a Psychiatric Technician in the state of locale. The Nurse will have had training or experience treating patients in an outpatient treatment program. There is no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment as a Nurse.
Responsibilities: The Nurse works under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Clinic Director. Maintains professional standard and follow the treatment policies of the organization and Federal and State Laws and Regulations. Assist the Program Director in completing performance evaluations according to organizational policies.
The Nurse is required to administer Medication as ordered by the Medical Director, Program Physician, and to maintain accurate accounting of all medication received (from supplier) and dispensed (to the patient). He / She is responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and ADP. The Nurse will dedicate a minimum of 95 percent of regularly scheduled work hours to activities directly related to the administration of Medication. The remaining 10 percent of regularly scheduled work hours will be dedicated to other activities as assigned by the Medical Director or Program Director.
The Nurse may be responsible for urine collection and processing, reading test results as ordered by Program Physicians and the completion of all forms involved in these procedures.
