Pediatric High Tech Nurse/Assistant (RN, LPN or LNA)
This position is 37.5 hours per week and benefited.
Full time, benefited overnight opening is available providing skilled pediatric high tech nursing care to technology dependent infants and children including tracheostomy care, feeding tube use and care, ventilator monitoring, etc. in their homes.
Job Duties Include:
• Provide direct pediatric high tech nursing care
• Discuss patients' status, problems and needs with family members, and educate family members similarly about patients' illnesses, treatment and care.
• Confer regularly with case manager and/or other clinical staff.
• Prepare all required clinical and administrative documentation.
• Participate in a variety of formal and informal orientation, training and staff development programs.
Qualifications:
Current Vermont RN, LPN or LNA license as well as:
• Two or more years of directly related home or public health, hospice and/or maternal and child health nursing experience.
• Ability to travel in order to conduct home visits.
• Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with patients, families and caregivers.
• Automobile Bodily Injury Liability insurance with coverage amounts of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident.
