Job Description:
Under the general supervision of a physician, the Physician Assistant/ARNP is responsible for providing varied medical services including: obtaining complete medical history and performing a physical examination, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies, formulating a diagnosis and treatment plan, prescribing and/or dispensing medication, assisting in office procedures. They will also maintain medical records, complete billing forms, letters to referring physicians and manage patient calls.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners or Physicians Assistant. A Massachusetts license and current NCCPA Certification is required. Must have a DEA number & MASS DPH registration to prescribe controlled substances.
Electronic Medical Record experience necessary.
