Angel Staffing, Inc is seeking (2) Licensed Practical Nurses for upcoming placement at Keesler Air Force Base.
Position is full time, (40 hours per week) contract lasting at least 1 year with 3 option years. Inpatient.
Air Force Medical Treatment Facility Requirement:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must have as a minimum, a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate from an accredited national, state, or military training equivalent school.
Licensure: The licensed LPN shall have and maintain an active, valid, current, unrestricted license with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions to practice nursing as a licensed LPN in a US jurisdiction.
Experience: The LPN shall have provided LPN services in the speciality clinical sevice area (Urology) for at least 12 months within the past 36 months.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of standard nursing care principles, procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of skill in cardiopulmonary resuscitation used to initiate resuscitation measures when necessary and assist medical team in providing support measures.
- Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, their expected beneficial effects, and potential sie effects.
- Ability to perform infection control procedures.
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures.
