UNC Health Care has an immediate need for a Cardiac Cath Lab Manager at their Main Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Management of an Invasive Cardiology Department Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure)
Bachelor's Degree in health related field is required
Preferred: Master's Degree is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Manages the Invasive Cardiology Department while ensuring that appropriate care and services are available to patients and families.
Ensures adequate and appropriate clinical staffing, managing nurses, technical and ancillary staff.
Responsible for annual performance reviews of staff members
Oversees the quality improvement initiatives to address identified patient safety or quality of care issues.
Provides and facilitates an environment conducive to staff continuing education needs, on-going unit-based educational needs, and orientation of staff members.
