Cardiac Stress Technician (Paramedic/ACLS)
PRN Status -- Indianapolis
Digirad Corporation is one of the largest and still growing in-office cardiovascular imaging companies in the United States. Digirad is a public company and has a twenty year history of innovation. We help doctors add cardiology imaging capabilities to their practices. Digirad provides the state of the art equipment and certified professional staff to conduct nuclear cardiovascular imaging services to patients in the comfort of their physician's office. .
Under the direct supervision of the site physician, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparation and tear down of mobile operations at the customer site.
Preparation of the patient for stress testing procedure -- patient interview, obtaining medical history, consent and signatures, etc.
Start the IV
Set up and monitor patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing.
EKG rhythm identification and interpretation.
ACLS measure to patients when directed.
Completion of paperwork at customer site
Driving a company van to and from appointments.
We are all about patient care and providing superb customer. Qualified candidates will possess a current ACLS certification and at least one year of experience in an emergency care setting responding to emergent cardiac and pulmonary events.
