Registered Nurse (RN) - ER, ICU, MedSurg & Tele (Phoenix, AZ)

Axis Medical Staffing, one of the leading preferred providers of quality healthcare staffing for facilities nationwide, is currently seeking experienced RN's with ER, ICU, MedSurg & Tele experience for Direct Hire, Contract, and Per Diem opportunities at several of our top-tier facilities in the Phoenix & Tucson areas of Arizona.
Currently we have many positions available w/ flexible scheduling for AM/PM shifts. The ability to float to different units of the hospital and assist patients with varying levels of acuity is preferred. These opportunities are a great way to supplement your income if current census is down. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience as an active RN and be able to provide solid references.
DETAILS:
Location - Phoenix & Tucson, AZ
Hours - 8-12 hr shifts. Days/Evenings/Nights
Length - 6-13 wk contract & per diem shifts
Compensation - Top Hourly Pay, Flexible schedule, Full Benefits, Matching vested 401k
Start Date - ASAP
REQUIREMENTS:
Current Arizona RN License
BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (certification requirements vary depending on specific jobs)
2 MMR's or (+) titers for measles, mumps & rubella
Hepatitis B vaccine, 3 vaccines or (+) titer
History of Varicella or 2 vaccines
Annual TB test / Chest x-ray results and TB questionnaire if positive PPD is indicated
Annual flu vaccine immunization
2 + years of current experience in a hospital setting required
Effective communication skills and critical thinking
