RN for Urgent Care Clinic (St. Charles, IL)

JOB OPENING: REGISTERED NURSE
LOCATION: 2000 West Main Street, St. Charles IL.
(Intersection of Randall and North Avenue)
POSITION: Part Time
AVAILABILITY: January 2012
HOURS OF OPERATION: Mon-Fri: 8am -- 8pm.
Sat-Sun-Holidays: 8am -- 5pm.
Job Duties:
1. Skill in providing effective and compassionate nursing care, assessing patient situations and taking effective courses of action.
2. Triage critically ill patient and prioritize patient care appropriately.
3. Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple requests by patients, families, and physician staff.
4. Be competent with Urine Drug and Breath Alcohol testing.
5. Be competent with Pulmonary spirometry testing.
6. Be competent with other testing equipment that is used on and off site.
7. Ability to lift and position patients as needed
8. Ability to keep area clean and maintain equipment.
9. Ability to keep and maintain records.
10. Ability to communicate effectively.
11. Certified in ACLS and provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
12. Skill in operating a computer and be compliant with company Electronic Medical Record.
13. Implement infection control procedures for the work area.
14. Coordinate care between clinic and other facilities such as hospitals or physician offices.
15. Telephone triage and call back for any patient related care.
16. When time available, to assist as a receptionist or other personnel.
17. To always work as a team player.
