This position is part-time -ÂÂ32 hours -ÂÂ4 evenings per week. This positionÂÂwill be office based in Sandy, UT or Hartford, CT.ÂÂÂHowever, teleworkÂmayÂbe available after you have completed 12 months of successful performance consistently meeting all metrics.POSITION SUMMARY:The Health Coach Consultant utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to engage, educate, and promote/influence members decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal health status. Requires an RN with unrestricted active license.-The Informed Healthline Nurse consultant:- provides a telephone-based information and decision support program to eligible members.- facilitates effective health care decision-making.- improves the quality of care.- improves member satisfaction with their health care plan.- facilitates appropriate use of health care resources.- provides up-to-date health care information to help facilitate members understanding of their health problems and possible options.- provides assistance by clarifying available options for the member's particular health problem or issue.- helps members actively and knowledgeably participate with their provider in their own health care decision-making.- promotes healthy lifestyles to help lower personal health risks, preventing illness.- is aware of the members available health and wellness programs, and makes referrals to these programs as appropriate.- provides clinical review to determine reimbursement for emergency room services. Required Skills: EDUCATIONThe highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONSRegistered Nurse is requiredREQUIRED SKILLS- Must have RN licensure in the state of office location- 3-5 years of clinical experience- Excellent keyboard skills- Telephone experience in the nursing field, especially telephone triage.- Emergency room and/or urgent care experience a plus- Benefits Management/Encouraging Wellness and Prevention- Benefits Management/Maximizing Healthcare Quality- Technology/Leveraging TechnologySuccessful candidates generally:- Are familiar with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook- Are self-motivated- Want to work evenings- Want to work every other weekend- Are able to complete 6 weeks full-time Mon-Fri orientation on a variable daytime scheduleFUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCESNursing/Medical-Surgical Care/4-6 YearsTECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCESDesktop Tools/Microsoft Outlook/1-3 Years/End User How to apply To learn more about this opportunity, visit us at www.aetna.com/working .
