Job Title: Nurse Paralegal-Medical Malpractice
General Summary:
Strong and Hanni is seeking a full-time nurse paralegal to work in our
Med-Mal Defense group. RN or other medical training/background is preferred.
Nursing degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred. Excellent benefits and great relaxing work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Nurse paralegal is needed to assist lawyers in all stages of Medical Malpractice defense litigation and trial work.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: obtaining, organizing, reviewing/analyzing and summarizing medical documents and records. Preparing medical chronologies. Preparing and transmitting records to experts. Researching medical literature and topics pertinent to specific cases. Working with attorneys in litigation and trail preparation. Must be proficient in Word, possess excellent writing and grammar skills, and be detailed and task-oriented.
Education and Experience:
Malpractice/Personal Injury litigation experience, a plus.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Nursing Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
Excellent Compensation and Benefits
Full Time: Monday -- Friday 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm
