Physical Therapist - PRN (Columbia, MD)

PRN (As Needed) Day Shift Every Other Weekend
- Minimum 2 weekend shifts in a 28 days cycle
Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part, improve wound healing and assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disability. Innovations improve work procedures and methods and primarily result in some time and cost savings. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatments of patients and in the case of wound care, involves some invasive procedures. Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information. Contact with external contacts involves providing or getting factual information. Requires normal courtesy and tact in dealing with others.

Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Two (2) or more years experience in Physical Therapy preferred, relevant to the settings to which the employee will be assigned. Current or temporary Maryland Physical Therapy licensure. Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures. Must maintain current CPR. Location: Columbia, MD
Compensation: Commensurate w/ Experience
