Our client, located in Charleston, South Carolina, has an immediate need to fill the position of an Operating Room Nurse Manager.The Nurse Manager of the Main OR reports to the Director of Surgical Services. The Main OR contains - Ortho, Neuro, Otolarynology, Plastics, Oral Surgery,
Peds, Peds CT, GU, GYN, Trauma (Level 1), Transplant (liver & kidney). The Nurse Manager ensures the provision of his/her departments in collaboration with other health professionals
in an environment that is respectful of others, accountable for outcomes and adaptive to change. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the planning and comprehensive operations of
department/unit on a 24-hour basis.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Job Type: Permanent/Full-Time.Career Level: Mid Career (3+ years of experience)Compensation: Competitive Compensation (DOE).Minimum Training and Education: Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing with an educational plan to obtain
a Master's relevant to the healthcare environment. Master's preferred. At least three years of true management experience in Operating Room required. Management experience in a
large university/teaching setting strongly preferred. Requires licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing and current BLS
certification from American Heart Association or Professional Rescuers Card.The successful candidate must possess:• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an educational plan to obtain a Master's (Master's preferred).• 3+ years of true Operating Room management experience (Management experience in a large university/teaching setting strongly preferred).• RN and current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Professional Rescuers Card.Interviews are being scheduled this week.
