Seeking a Registered Nurse to be the full time day charge nurse for a 30 bed skilled facility. This is a challenging position because the nurse on this shift manages much of the overall care of residents. This facility admits people for rehabilitation and long term care. There are also usually a few "younger" disabled residents who require a slightly different approach from the elderly. The successful applicant will enjoy a position that requires organization skills, good communication and the ability to plan and deliver high quality care to individaul residents.
This is not a position for a nurse who dislikes change because long term care is constantly changing. We prefer applicants who are eager to learn and willing to advocate strongly for the residents in their care. Experience is a plus but not an absolute neccessity if other positive attributes are present. We are eager to explore the possibility of working in this setting with any applicant who is interested in learning about the position to see if it might be the one s/he is seeking. Location: Bellows Falls vermont
Compensation: Is dependent on education and experience
