Three physician sub-specialty practice — 2-3 days per week – CTO/Holiday time and 401(k) possible after one year – will consider Medical Assistant with experience – must have excellent computer skills. *Telephone triage – answering phone calls and accurately relaying information to the appropriate physician, followed by accurate transmission of the physician’s response back to the patient. *Scheduling appointments with other specialists and for radiology and laboratory studies, etc. *Obtaining prior authorizations for radiology studies and medications. *Assist physicians to facilitate patient visit – obtain detailed patient history, taking and recording vital signs, height and weight measurements. *Performing tests requested by physicians; allergy skin testing, pulmonary function testing *Assist with patient education
