General Description:
The primary responsibility of the On-Site Occupational Health Nurse is to provide general Occupational Health services to employees at our on-site client facility He/she will actively see patients, be part of the organization's Emergency Response & Safety Team, assist with injury prevention. In addition, the selected individual will manage workers' compensation cases and perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Assist Clinical Staff by providing basic first aid
• Managing clinic supplies
• Reporting of injury trends to leadership
• Communicate with employees and clients
• Perform other related duties as needed
Qualified candidates for this will possess:
• Registered Nurse, COHN or COHNS ideal and/or experience in Occupational Health preferred.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation best practices preferred.
• Basic proficiency with computers (Excel and Word) ideal.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently without a lot of supervision.
• Integrity, team-player and values driven.
