A Utah/Salt Lake County Mental Health organization that specializes in community-based support services for children and adults with mental health and behavioral difficulties is in need of a Doctor of Psychiatry or an APRN.
The practitioner will provide counseling, therapy and medication management to patients on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in Utah.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry is required. Triple board certified in children, adolescent and adult psychiatry preferred.
- Holder of a valid controlled substance registration issued by the United States DEA
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Preference given to experienced practitioner.
- Preference given to local candidates credentialed with insurance panels.
- Selected candidate must successfully pass a drug screen.
- Selected candidate must successfully complete a background security investigation.
- Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
- Selected candidate must read, write and speak English.
Office Hours: Mon-Fri, with limited on-call and weekend work.
