About the Operating Room (OR):
Number of OR Suites: 2
(one for surgical cases; one typically for scopes)
Patient ratio: 1:1
Annual average patients/cases: 600
Number of professionals in dept.: 8
Support staff: 2 PRNs that are not coded to the OR department.
Type of equipment/software used: Computerized Charting
full time general surgeon and ortho surgeon.
Types of surgeries include of lap choles, lap appys, breast biopsies, hernias, bowel resections, mastectomies, total joint replacements and trauma surgeries

The Candidate
1+ to 2 years of experience
Management Experience Required - No
Minimum Education - Associate's Degree

The Ideal Candidate will have 1-3 years minimum OR experience. Team player, willingnes to work all areas of the OR; willingness to train new staff; positive attitude; patient advocate
