Medical Prevention and Advanced Wellness Clinic in Northwest Arkansas, seeking Nurse Practitioner. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. NO nights or weekends. Great benefit package.
Our mission is to promote a long and healthy lifestyle by preventing falls, amputations, loss of independence, and future complications associated with chronic diseases, such as neuropathy, diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension. A few services we offer are foot care, deep muscle stimulation, fall prevention, physical medicine, preventative counseling, and comprehensive education.
Job Description
•Provide quality health care services under the supervision/collaboration of a Physician;
•Must hold degree from an accredited educational program for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioner and hold a valid state license;
•Conduct complete physical exam on patients to obtain information about their physical condition;
•Interpret diagnostic test results for deviation from normal;
•Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients;
•Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical exam;
•Administer or order diagnostic testing, such as Neurometers, Venus Doppler and laboratory test, as needed;
•Prescribe therapy or medication with Physician approval;
•Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, infection management and deep muscle stimulation;
•Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, health maintenance, health education, nutrition and wellness;
•Supervise and coordinate activities of Nurses and Technicians;
•Provide patient Plan of Care, update charts, order therapy, assist in therapy treatment and report to Physicians;
•Maintain HIPAA compliance, patient privacy and professionalism. Location: NW Arkansas
