Nurse Manager (The Salvation Army)

We have an immediate opening for an experienced RN to manage the medical services provided in the Clitheroe Center Specialized Treatment Unit. Provides and oversees all aspects of nursing care; ensures professional nursing standards, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements are followed to achieve continuity of care; conducts staff performance evaluations; interviews job applicants, and recommends hires and terminations
Position Qualifications:
Current Alaska RN license; BSN degree preferred; prior work experience and/or specialized course work in chemical dependency and/or mental health preferred. Knowledge of psychological and physiological aspects of alcohol abuse. Prior supervisory experience; ability to conduct training for clinical and other support staff. Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and to work independently exercising good judgment in the medical management of the unit.
ï¶ Current Alaska RN license; BSN Degree preferred
