Full-time RN (The Salvation Army)

The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center is seeking an RN to provide nursing care to STU clients by administering medications according to physician orders; provides guidance to the STU Technicians assigned to shift; documents client observations and status of withdrawal; performs nursing duties within established policies and procedure and scope of license.
Minimum Qualifications
 Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
 Current license from the Alaska Board of Nursing
 Current CPR and First Aid Certificate, and ability to provide basic life support
 Ability to work with others with limited supervision
 Skill to assess withdrawal symptoms and to provide appropriate medical response
 Experience in direct client care of alcohol/drug withdrawal management with knowledge of
the psychological and behavioral manifestations of chemical dependence
 Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
 Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving and criminal history records
