The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center is seeking an RN to provide nursing care to STU clients by administering medications according to physician orders; provides guidance to the STU Technicians assigned to shift; documents client observations and status of withdrawal; performs nursing duties within established policies and procedure and scope of license.
Minimum Qualifications
ï¶ Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
ï¶ Current license from the Alaska Board of Nursing
ï¶ Current CPR and First Aid Certificate, and ability to provide basic life support
ï¶ Ability to work with others with limited supervision
ï¶ Skill to assess withdrawal symptoms and to provide appropriate medical response
ï¶ Experience in direct client care of alcohol/drug withdrawal management with knowledge of
the psychological and behavioral manifestations of chemical dependence
ï¶ Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
ï¶ Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving and criminal history records
