Position overview:


Registered Nurses are responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation -- each specific to his/her specialty.

Responsibilities:

Directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards.
Collaborates with other healthcare professional to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient care and to achieve the best possible patient outcome.
Serves as a resource person when the situation requires.
Applies age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care.
Responsible for care of all patients from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.
Responsible for conducting the initial assessment and re-assessment every 24 hours.
Job Requirements
Current RN License; ability to obtain AK licensure prior to employment

Minimum of 2 yrs Nursing Experience Required; 2-5+ yrs experience ideal

Specialty Nursing: Minimum of 2 yrs experience within specialty of interest

BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred for specialty roles
