An open OR Nurse position in a prominent western Nebraska location near beautiful Lake McConaughy is in need of being filled. This is for a Banner Health 18 bed facility where the patient ratio is 1:1. Average annual patient/case load is 600. Eight professionals assigned to the department with an additional two PRN's serving as support staff. Computerized charting is used and there is a full time general surgeon and an ortho surgeon. Common surgeries performed here are lap choles, lap appys, breast biopsies, hernias, bowel resections, mastectomies, total joint replacements and trauma surgeries. This position has full benefits and relocation!
Experience Required: 1-3 years minimum OR experience.
Specific Skills Required: Team player, willingness to work in all areas of the OR, willingness to train new staff, positive attitude and a patient advocate.
Education Required: Minimum education - Associate's Degree
