Part-Time Nurse, Travel Medicine & Immunization
Passport Health, the nation's leading provider of Travel Medical Services and Immunizations, is currently accepting applications for Travel Medicine & Immunization Nurse position's in Fargo, ND.
Job Description
The nurses are responsible for providing travel health counseling and vaccinations to Passport Health clients.
The nurse also works closely with the corporate executive clinical team and our director of business development to promote the business among area health care professionals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize proper travel medicine guidelines and protocols to provide immunizations and travel health counseling in a safe and effective manner. Corporate guidelines and processes provided.
• Adhere to protocols promoting safety and patient well-being.
• Provide friendly, efficient and safe service to clients.
• Assist with targeted outreach efforts to help develop strong relationship with local physician practices, health departments, local hospitals and corporations, to build community awareness of our services.
Qualifications/Requirements for this position:
• Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant with current license in good standing in the state of ND
• Demonstrated ability to respond to emergency situations including anaphylactic reactions.
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism and excellence in health care practice.
• Appropriate mix of proven business development expertise, energy, and initiative
• Willingness to travel infrequently, on an as-needed basis a plus (local)
• Ability to function and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, self-directed environment
• Ability to work independently; strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Strong comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Internet resources
• For nurses B.S.N preferred, but not required
• Current BLS

Compensation: DOE
